Update Theme - by pcmoia - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Hello 8theme,

    When we created our website we use a single theme (Legenda v2.9.2), and all the modifications we made, was realize without using a theme Child, because we don’t know how to use a Child theme.
    Now we want to update the main theme, without losing the changes made to our PHP files.
    How can we convert the main theme (current) into a Child theme and install the latest version of Legenda as principal?
    Will we keep the changes made?

    How can we do it?

    Hello,

    You need to transfer changes into child theme to prevent losing your modification after the theme update. Please read more -https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
    Also, I would recommend you export theme settings into file (Theme Options > Import/Export > Import or Export your theme configuration > Export Options).
