    Hi,

    I just updated our site Blanco version 2.9.4. I am trying to change our slider but can’t seem to create new ones with the LayerSlider plugin. I’ve deleted the old slider but it’s still showing up on our site (Home & Design Show). Is this a bug with the new theme and the plugin? Can you help with this please?

    Also, I’ve uploaded our new favicon into our website folders under images but the theme doesn’t recognize the favicon.ico. Would you be able to help with this?

    Can you also tell me how I would disable the price attribute to the “New Arrivals” on the home page? Also, how do I disable the price, product code and shipping from our Single Product Page?

    Plese see in private content for FTP access should you require this.

    Thank you kindly,
    Susan

    Hello,

    Please add this code in custom.css file to remove price and other info:

    #product-page .product-shop .main-info, .product-slider .product-slide .price {
        display: none;
    }

    To create custom.css you need rename default.custom.css to custom.css in wp-content/themes/blanco directory via FTP and enable it in Blanco – Theme Settings, tick “Enable Custom CSS file”.

    As I see the slider isn’t shown on the site. If you’re talking about large image on the Home page, then it’s added in Home Page Sidebar in Appearance > Widgets.

    Also you need update the required plugins to the latest versions https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Eva,

    Can you let me know how I would change the favicon? I’ve placed ours in the Blanco folder but it isn’t updating.

    Thanks,
    Susan

    Hello,

    Did you place your favicon image in wp-content/themes/blanco/images folder?

    Thank you.

    Hi Eva,

    Yes, I’ve placed the favicon before in there but it is still the default Blanco favicon. I’ve deleted and re-uploaded and it still won’t update.

    Thanks,
    Susan

    Hello,

    Your favicon image is large. You should create a smaller one:

    Please try to recreate it.

    Thank you.
