I’ve just updated the theme on our website and now it seems the Visual Composer has stopped working. I cannot edit page/posts and products anymore using VC.
Plus the Edit Link and Add Media buttons on the backend editor are not working after the update.
Disabling all plugins doesn’t help. VC and the buttons only working after I switch theme to Twenty Seventeen.
Please help.

Sorry, please try again with the following.
Hello,
I’ve just checked the issue with default WordPress theme (Twenty Sixteen) and it does not work there too. So the problem isn’t related to our theme. You can check it yourself.

Hi Rose,
Actually if I disable all plugins and just activate the Woopress theme, the Edit Link and Add Media buttons on the backend editor are not working.
And if I disable the theme, and Essential Grid plugin which is required, the Visual Composer works fine.
Hello,
Seems there is lack of some resources.
Please contact your hosting provider support regarding this issue and ask them to check error logs if there are any notices.

I am facing a similar problem now. I tried to edit content on a page which was done with the standard wordpress tool for text and wanted to switch to Visual Composer which is not up to date at the moment and I find it confusing how to update it when buying it with the Woopress Theme. What can I do to get the latest Visual Composer Version?
The visual composer tool seems to be loading forever when trying to add an element. But it never does anything.
Hello,
You will find the latest version at this link https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/
