Updating XStore theme - by trambussen - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Hi! Haven’t updated XStore theme and plugins for a long time…

    Now it’s time, BUT i’m scared that updating will cause a lot of trouble on our site.

    Can You give any advise?

    Another matter: Saw that the Elementer page builder can now be used in XStore, but does the whole store need to be build with Elementor or can you have pages build with WP Bakery and other with Elementor on the same site?

    Hello,

    In your case I would recommend you to create staging site (full copy of the existing one) and update theme there first. Then if everything is ok you’ll be able to update production site. If not then you’ll have a time to fix the issues and only when everything will be fixed update production. If you want we could help you with this but we need WP Dashboard and FTP access to your staging site and link to production.

    You may try to enable both builders at the same time but we can’t guarantee that there are not any compatibility issues between them.

    Hello,

    Is the https://monstedcykler.dk/ your staging site? Or you want to update the production site without staging site update?

    What username should we use to log in to your WP Dashboard? You missed that.

    Hello,

    We tried the email that you provided https://gyazo.com/932e0d561c339271631302086f1c9018 and were blocked http://prntscr.com/sfgp1a Seems it was incorrect.

    Contact your hosting provider support to get information about the staging site. It could be different depending on the hosting, so I can’t be sure about this.
