Trying to install latest version of the theme.
Each time I try to import demos I get this error: error while install ofelementorplugin
I have tried on different dev domains and on different servers, and it has the same error message that pops up.
I have even tried to install a different demo.
This has all be tested on a fresh wp install.
Hello, @GazTheGoat,
This seems you have changed your template name, Don’t change the template name https://prnt.sc/26d9n9q Parent theme name should be mentioned there.
Did not face any problems with the Elementor plugin installation once set the correct template name.
And then after Installing the plugins you will have to import the demo and I am sure you will not face this issue anymore.
Regards 8Themes Team.
Hello
Template name has not been changed.
We have tried this a few times on different servers and we have not changed any settings at all.
It happens on each server.
100 percent have not changed the name of template.
Hello,
Please provide URL of your site, temporary wp-admin and FTP access via the Private Content area, so we can take a closer look.
Thanks in advance

I have added details
I have went into appearance and theme editor, in there, there is no name for theme on the latest version.
Is this a bug
We have tested on different servers with fresh install and no name for theme appears like in your screenshot.
Maybe a bug.
Try install with latest version from ThemeForest

As I can see, someone edit theme files on your site right now.
Please do not rename themes.

Hello,
Thanks for the video.
I’ve repeated your actions on my test site, there is no such problem. It is strange. But, please try to do the next:
Go to our Plugins Installer and install the Elementor plugin from there – https://prnt.sc/Z26YCVg881u2 , OR go to Plugins from the WP Dashboard > Add new > find and install Elementor
Let us know the result.
Waiting for your reply.

Hi
I have installed elementor before theme. Please see results in attached video again.
Same thing happens with next plugin
Hello,
As I can see, you have changed wp-admin access.
Please provide the correct access. I will pass your problem to someone from our dev team.
Regards
I will send new access asap.
I see this in theme editor
This theme is broken. Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a templates/index.html or index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet.
Is the most recent version uploaded to downloads section.
When you test can you tell me your config etc,
Php version etc
I want to try another install
I have tried this so many times i am now getting this error
You have reached activation number limit.
According to the ThemeForest license policy, you can use 1 license for 1 project only.
I have been trying on different hosts/servers/domains to try and fix the issue.
Can you clear this limit for me please
Thanks
This is the text of your child theme style.css
/*
Theme Name: XStore Child
Theme URI: http://8theme.com/
Description: XStore Child Theme
Author: 8theme
Author URI: http://8theme.com
Template:
Version: 1.0
Text Domain: xstore-child
*/
but here is the correct text:
/*
Theme Name: XStore Child
Theme URI: http://8theme.com/
Description: XStore Child Theme
Author: 8theme
Author URI: http://8theme.com
Template: xstore
Version: 1.0
Text Domain: xstore-child
*/
Do not delete the “xstore” from Template: in the file.
When I have access to your site and installed the child theme all was fine, but now it seems you deleted “xstore” from the Template: and got “Template is missing” error.
Regards
Cleared the limit.
