Hello Olga,
I checked my site and found yith wishlist free version installed but not activated under plugins. All my translations were gone and the wishlist was not working when Im logged in or logged out either. All premium features were gone…. All my translations were gone… I had to restore my whole site from a backup. That was not good. Why did you do that?!?
Hope it will be fixed soon… And please test such changes before you change something on a live site :-/…
Hi,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused, can you explain the issue in details? So, that we can help you with the situation.
PS: A personal advice, always use a staging website. So that you can test the issue in the staging area, after fixing the issue you can move the fix to the live site.
Let us know,
Thanks,
laranz.
Hi Laranz,
yes. it was my fault to. But nothing happend in the end :).
I think the issue has something to do with yith wishlist premium. When you are logged in, the wishlist is working perfect (thanks for integration!!!), the little popup opens. But when you are logged out, the little wishlist ajax cart is not functioning correct. There are no products in the little ajax cart, but the product is added to the wichlist. You can try it by yourself, when you are logged out.
You can find the staging site in hidden content ;)…
Hello,
But this issue was fixed on your production site, no?
Try to test now on the staging site.
Regards
Hello Olga,
yes now it works perfect. The problem was, that your team installed the wishlist plugin along with the premium version and it caused compatibility and translation issues… So I had to restore a backup. Now it works on the staging site. Can you please tell which file I must exchange :).
Thank you!
Hello,
I see, sorry, yes, we tested compatibility issue and that’s why standard version was installed.
We made changes in xstore/framework/woo.php
Regards
No problem Olga. Staging is a good idea. So there all can be tested and after that I copy it to the live site :). Now all is fine. THANKS!
You are welcome!
