    Hi,

I have a product attribute ‘color’ that is configured to a color swatch and have set the ‘primary attribute’ in theme settings set to the ‘color’ attribute so that the product image on the single product page shows the correct variation image when a user selects a color swatch.

I would like instead to use a thumbnail of the variation image in place of the color swatches in the Add To Cart variations section. I can’t change the attribute setting from ‘swatch’ to ‘image’ because it would show the same product thumbnails I set in the attributes for all products. That wont make sense to users. Also I’m using the swatches on the shop page so I wan tto keep the color attribute as a set to swatch. I only want thumbnails of variation images on the single product page.

How can I accomplish this? …and still leave the tooltips for the color options to function the same (shows colour swatch name) Happy to work with php or javascripts if you have sample code please.

    Thanks.

    Hello, YT,

Unfortunately, with access only to the admin panel, we are unable to fully resolve your issue. Could you please provide us with FTP access?

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team
