Hi:
1) When I uncheck the Anyone can register box: https://prnt.sc/o1pai4 – I noticed when clicked on the Sign in link, the REGISTER side still appears: https://prnt.sc/o1paqm
Shouldn’t that part be hidden if I uncheck the Any can register box?
2) On the other hand, if I check it: https://prnt.sc/o1payt – registration works fine but you happen to know of a snippet or plugin I can use to disable the default WordPress New User Registration email that gets automatically sent to the User?
Thanks,
KV
Hello,
1) Registration that you mentioned is the registration that comes from WooCommerce plugin. To disable it go to WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts tab > disable registration on My Account page.
2) Try to search on WordPress forums. We did not work with such plugins, so don’t have any recommendations.

Oh that’s right! I got it now. But hey, when the mouse hovers over the SIGN IN link: https://prnt.sc/o1q3fi – the dropdown box shows but even if I enable Registration in WooCommerce, I only see the Login button on the dropdown box. Is there a way to add the Register button or smaller link also?
As of right now, the only way to see both the Login and Register option if if the user clicks on the SIGN IN link above the dropdown box, which most will forget that it’s there. Let me know. Thanks.
Hello,
To get link there you can create the custom Registration page https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#4_registration_page

Hi, I was referring to the slide down “Login Form” in the top right bar area: https://prnt.sc/o1q3fi – Not the My Account / Registration page. How can I add a “Register” link in the that Login Form?
Also, I noticed in the widget, when I click to view what inserted in the Right Side Top Bar Area, it’s a blank space: https://prnt.sc/o2gjqb
I know something is there, otherwise it wouldn’t display any content in the top right bar area, you know what I mean? Thanks.
Hello,
Once Registration page is created you get the register link in the top bar http://prntscr.com/o3cylo the same as on our demo. Is it suitable for you?

Yeah that’s fine, I was just gonna allow customer to Register only during Checkout to avoid Spam registration. Since you have the reCaptcha installed, let me know where to go to insert the reCAPTCHA v3, I have the site and secret key. I recall you said awhile back this them only uses v2?
If that’s the case, then let’s just remove the Register dropdown and leave the Sign In as is. That was only customer that actually purchase a product during Check out can Sign in afterwards. And we’ll need to uncheck the “Anyone Can Register” under General tab.
But if you’re able to utilize recCaptcha v3 then let’s go with how you have set up now and I just need to insert the secret keys.
I’m currently using reCaptcha v3 integration in my Conact page using Contact Form 7. So let me know if you created your register form via Contact Form 7?
Let me know. Thanks.
Hello,
Royal comes with reCAPTCHA v2 because we got a lot of requests that reCAPTCHA v3 does not prevent spam. That’s why we left v2 version and did not update it to v3. So, you may generate the keys for the v2 and add them in Theme Options > Contact form & Registration. Our registration is not created by Contact form 7, our registration is the custom built-in registration.
If you want to remove the Register link from the top bar then go to Pages and remove the registration page.
Got it, I changed the Registration to draft in case I decide to reactive it again later. But for now, it’s safer to just allow customers to Create an Account during Checkout. I use Captcha v3 on the Contact Form 7 and it’s workin so far. Thanks.
Hello,
Yes, you may keep draft of the Registration page. If you prefer v3 version use it. Probably, we’ll also update reCaptcha version in future in one of the next updates.

Sounds good, Thanks.
