    Hi

    After updating the theme there seems to be an issue with the site.

    The variable products are not showing the variations?

    Any idea of the root issue here, and how can we fix it?

    I had to move this to the staging site, to not cause friction to the visitors on live site.

    All the info about the staging site is in the private content area.

    Hello,

    It is surprising that you are the only one who has reported such an issue; it is possible that the problem may not be related to the theme update.

    The email you used belongs to the customization team, and unfortunately, we do not have access to it. Kindly disable the additional verification or use an email from the Private Content area.

    Best regards,

    Thanks for the notice.

    I added access to you in the private content area.

    I also tried to deactivate the child theme, i now have the parent theme active and i am now able to click the different variations.

    Does this mean that the issue is coming from the child theme?

    Hello,

    We appreciate your prompt response.

    In this case, we kindly recommend reviewing the code added to the child theme and comparing the Theme Options to identify any discrepancies that might be causing the issue.

    For example, you may connect to the files via FTP and temporarily rename the files that were modified in the child theme. This will help determine if the issue is related to those files. Once you identify the specific file causing the problem, we suggest removing the code in sections to pinpoint the exact part that needs to be modified in order to resolve the situation.

    Please note that any changes made to the child theme fall outside the scope of our original code and, therefore, are beyond our area of responsibility.

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team

    I totally understand that

    The reason i ask about the child theme is because the only ones who have toched the child theme is your 8th theme paid customization service.

    I appreciate the conflict testing procedure, and will forward to the right department, thanks!

    Hi

    I have now fixed the login 2 auth. Disabled until feb 21.

    You still have to verify and log in via a link sent to this email after entering the login credentials.

    Email:

    8theme.dev@gmail.com

    I suspect that something in the child theme is hiding/overwriting/conflicting with the woocommerce plugin.

    If its so, how can we fix this permanently for scale?

    After you have found a scalable solution, please also implement it for the live site, its the excact same log in credentials.

    Live site:

    Dear Nicolo,

    We hope you are doing well.

    We have encountered some difficulties in receiving verification emails at 8theme.dev@gmail.com.

    Could you kindly assist us in completely disabling the two-factor authentication (2FA) on the staging site only? Your support would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hi,

    The issue is fixed now. Please log in using the credentials in the private area.

    However, there seems to be another issue with the child theme code as well:
    – the label “Velg Frekvens” is missing from the UI. How can we resolve this? (Added screenshots to showcase it)

    The custom code in the child theme seems to be causing recurring issues, requiring frequent fixes. Can we optimize it for better scalability and stability to reduce errors? This was a paid service so i would really appreciate your thoughts on this matter.

    Dear @Nicolo,

    We would like to inform you that we have removed the custom CSS code, and everything is now functioning correctly: (https://tinyurl.com/2dkhq8hn).

    Kindly exercise caution when adding custom CSS code in the future to avoid any potential issues.

    The removed CSS code was as follows:

    .single-product .woocommerce table.wishlist_table tr:last-child,
    .single-product table tr:last-child {
        display: none;
    }

    Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team

    It works great!

    Thanks alot Luca, very glad you found a solution.

    These 2 fixes
    – Label text
    – Remove the css that hid the variable products

    how can we implement them on the live site?

    – Unfortunately i cannot push the staging to live due to new orders and other changes that had occured in the meantime.

    Dear @Nicolo,

    1. Please find and remove this custom CSS code on your LIVE site:

    .single-product .woocommerce table.wishlist_table tr:last-child,
    .single-product table tr:last-child {
        display: none;
    }

    2. Under functions.php file on the line 11, please remove //: https://userimg.8theme.com/storage/2025/02/07/31531-Velg%20frekvens%20not%20showing%20anymore%20-%20how%20to%20fix.png

    Hope it helps!

    After logging in to make the changes i see that the “Velg frekvens” is not working properly!

    Its appearing before the dropdown, not after click. This may have to do with your edits of the child theme.

    It needs to be invinsible before any variations are active, and appear after one is clicked. I added a video to showcase this.

    Hi @Nicolo,

    Can you please check again?

    https://stg-httpselmateno-staging.kinsta.cloud/produkt/guarani-energia-yerba-mate-te/

    If it’s working, please add this custom CSS code:

    .single-product .has-subscription-plans .woocommerce-variation.single_variation::before {
        content: 'VELG FREKVENS:';
        color: #000;
        font-family: Staatliches;
        font-size: 16px;
        font-style: normal;
        font-weight: 400;
        line-height: normal;
        margin-bottom: 0.5em;
    }

    Then add \\ to line 11 of functions.php file in your child theme from the LIVE site also.

    https://tinyurl.com/24vzax5o

    Thank you!
