Variation Images are either not showing or not showing correctly

https://safedesires.com/product/rhinestone-studded-bodystocking/ is showing the wrong colors even though the meta data shows that the correct pictures are assigned. Inside the admin area, it doesn’t not give me an option to edit any of the variation images.

Another example is https://safedesires.com/product/mad-halter-babydoll-slip/ where the same thing is happening.
In these two examples, the same (Blue) variation images show for all variations.

Other products are not showing any variation images even though they are on file and assigned.

The issue resolves itself when I change from the XStore Theme to the XStore Classic theme. I am not sure why that would make a difference, but please confirm that the theme that is selected now is the correct one to use.
Video in the private content area shows the correction taking place.

In case you want to use the parent theme, you need to transfer Theme Options, because they are different for these themes: go to Theme Options (when the child theme is activated) > Import/Export > Download the export file. After that activate the parent theme (Appearance > Themes) > go to Theme Options > Import/Export > import your options and reload the page without saving! Save options only after reloading. Check your site after that, and use the parent theme.
