Hi! We faced an issue with the Variation Swatches settings. Webstore is a builder without Elementor (pure Gutenberg) + Enabled single product builder for product pages. We mentioned that only some products have unexpected ajax enabled for switching variation. Why did it happen and how to fix it?

    As an additional question:
    1. How exactly does this “Use alternative stock logic” function work?
    2. do you have a shortcode for implementing sale booster features in the new cart/checkout block e.g. shortcode for “Cart / Checkout Progress Bar”?

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello, blorax,
Thank you for reaching out to us.

    1) Please note that WordPress does not return more than 30-50 items in a single query (this depends on the WordPress settings and database configuration). As a result, in your case, certain products utilize AJAX (those with more than 30 variations), while others do not (those with fewer than 50 variations).

    2) Unfortunately, such shortcodes do not currently exist. However, you are welcome to submit a request for their development at the following link:

    1. As I understand products utilize AJAX issue\feature is related to WordPress core itself, but not to theme. is that correct? If it is true, is it possible to filter out “out of stock” products or mark them with “X” to follow the correct visual settings we have on the website?

    2. thanks for the suggestion to add a request for new features, but, maybe, you can provide a temporary solution e.g. PHP code\snippet to call this function for now?

    3. and you didn’t answer the question about “Use alternative stock logic” function. What is this feature for?

    Hello, blorax,

    1) Yes, this is a limitation. The only way to standardize this would be to implement continuous AJAX loading of variations. For this, we would require FTP and admin access.

    2) Unfortunately, no. This is because it would require the development of specific shortcodes, which falls outside the scope of support services.

    3) Although you did not ask about the “Use alternative stock logic” option, we would like to clarify it for you. This option modifies the stock logic for single products marked as “out of stock” when certain plugins are in use. However, if the theme is used without those plugins, this option does not have any effect.

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team
