Variation Swatches Only Change if You Hit Color First

But I’d like to be able to click on a color first, see the images change then pick a size…

Woocommerce doesnt seem to have an option

Here is an example https://bonobos.com/products/stretch-washed-chino?color=graphites

and here: https://www.gymshark.com/products/gs-power-sports-bra-bright-turquoise-print-ss22

Everytime you select a color the image changes, then you proceed to pick the size

Hello,

Yes, unfortunately, WooCommerce does not have option to change images if you choose only one attribute. You can submit a feature request here https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/ and if that takes votes also from other customers our developers will be able to try to implement such an option.

Is there a plugin close to it? or is this all custom work?

Hello,

We did not test other plugins for these purposes. You can look for the third-party variation swatches plugins and ask plugin authors if they have such built-in option.
