Hi,
We have problems with “Out of Stock” Design option.
That work fine in store pages or product categories:
https://whnbcn.hostingcluster6desgest.com/categoria-producto/camisetas/
But it is not displayed properly for product page:
https://whnbcn.hostingcluster6desgest.com/producto/00-camiseta-holbox-esgotada-02/
Can you help us with this issue?
Thanks again,
Mariano
Hello, @desgest,
We suggest disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/), clearing the cache of the browser, and then checking again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.
If the issue still persists, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and grant permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site Customization. This will allow us to investigate and assist you accordingly.
Please note that you should take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.
In addition, please provide your site’s WP Admin URL and credentials in the private content area of this topic, so that we can look into it further:

Hi Tony,
We tried to work without third-party plugins. But issue remains.
Now, we have only 6 plugins actived:
Contact Form 7 v.5.8 Takayuki Miyoshi
Elementor v.3.15.2 Elementor.com
XStore Core v.5.1.12 8theme
Kirki Customizer Framework v.5.0.0 Themeum
Loco Translate v.2.6.4 Tim Whitlock
WooCommerce v.8.0.0 Automattic
And the problem is the same. Can your team check in wp admin?
Thanks again
Hello, @desgest,
Thank you for your response.
We’ve enabled “Stock Status” via Theme Options > WooCommerce > Single product > Layout. Please check now – https://prnt.sc/b8WZbrHw0EZi

Hi Rose,
Thanks for your quick reply.
Maybe I was misunderstood. What we need is about Variation Swatches. It work fine in shop page or category page:
But if you enter inside of that product:
https://whnbcn.hostingcluster6desgest.com/producto/camiseta-holbox-estampada/
The product page does not show Swatches with “cross line” for out of stock variations.
Getting a product from your demos:
https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/product-category/all/page/2/?
https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/product/variable-product/
It’s all what we need: cross lined swatches if variations is “out of stock”. In shop page and product page.
I hope this reply is a better explanation of our issue.
Thank again for your great support.
Mariano

Hi,
Thanks for your reply and video. It help us to solve some things of this problem.
1. In Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory > Out of stock visibility, WE DON’T NEED “Hide out of stock items from the catalog”.
And this, was solved in this topic. Now is a feature in Xstore.
https://www.8theme.com/topic/out-of-stock-design-variation-swatches/#post-361593
2. In your exemple, Variation Swathches run fine:
https://whnbcn.hostingcluster6desgest.com/producto/test-out-of-stock-product/
Both in the store area and in the page area. Even unselect “”Hide out of stock items from the catalog” form point 1.
But…
3. We need control stock with “Stock management” and your example doesn’t track stock quantity. So we created a need example tracking stock:
https://whnbcn.hostingcluster6desgest.com/producto/0000222-test-out-of-stock-product/
WITH STOCK MANAGEMENT. It works fine in page shop / page product category:
But in product page, doesn’t work fine. Variation Swatches have a bad UX:
Variation Swatches doen’t show “Cross Line” or “Line-thought” design.
In our new testing product. Black varitions is out of stock / Blue variations is on stock / Golden variations are partially in stock. You can play with this product for try to see what what I’ve written here.
We think that solve this issue in your theme could be great for developers:
Work fine both managed stock for variations and swatches is great for clothes shops but also for other shops created with Store, like afterparts industries, etc.
Also, if you are developing a Wait List module, it is a must for this kind of features.
Thank again for readme and try to solve this issue.

Hello, @desgest,
Thank you for your patience.
Different in mentioned products is the next: 1 – do not have some variations (combinations) at all ; 2 – variations (combinations color+size) exist but are not in stock.
We have made some improvements. Please check how it works now.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Hi, @Rose Tyler,
Thanks again for your great support.
I checked your changes. Now works great but maybe need last improvement. I’m going to explain with some screenshoots:
Variation Swatches work awesome in shop page and category page. If an user enter to browse product, system can show if a product have a varition in stock or not. Any action is required for user. And UX is great.
But….
In product page, user can not see if any variation is out of stock. System requires active action from user to show if a varition is out of stock.
I think this is last UX improvement that variation swatches requires for this issue. I don’t know if is possible reach that 100 % UX point.
We wait for your reply. Great work for 8theme teams!
Mariano
Hello, @desgest,
Thank you for your response.
Due to the unique features of the single product, the correct display of ‘out of stock’ is only possible under the following conditions:
In the renamed option Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory > Out of stock visibility, we do not require the “Hide out of stock items from the catalog” feature.
Alternatively, it can be achieved through active user action.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Hi again @rose-tyler,
We reopen this topic due we’d detected that improvements you apply in your reply: August 14, 2023 5:17 pm, are lost.
?¿
The issue, was solved as this screenshot shows:
But now, in the same product url, doesn’t work:
https://whnbcn.hostingcluster6desgest.com/producto/0000222-test-out-of-stock-product/
Any idea about this strange behavior?
Most of third-party plugins are disabled.
Thanks again for your support.
Mariano
