Hi,
We have a problem with the VC Single Image element. When loading the page the image loads in a smaller size, when the page is fully loaded only then it takes on the correct size (1920 x 450).
We think it’s a JS conflict with the VC page builder.
You can see the link to page where the problem occurs in private content.
Hello,
This behavior relates to scripts of the visual composer. When the page is loading the row is not full with so image is in the container then script makes it the full width and image become full width. You can enable preloader to hide site while page loading is in progress.
Regards
Thanks for your quick response.
I don’t like a preloader for this website. Is there another solution for this problem? On other website’s (with other theme’s) I don’t have this problem with the Visual Composer.
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
Unfortunately, we do not have a ready solution for this. The same situation you can see with a default WordPress theme activated on site. Please check with Twenty Seventeen or Twenty Sixteen theme. If there is a different situation, please let us know and provide temporary wp-admin access in Private content so we can take a closer look.
Regards
Sorry for the delayed response. But we still experience this issue.
Inlog in private content. Can you take a closer look?
Looking forward to hear from you.
Hello,
We are theme support and we can help you with issues related strictly to our theme. Please let me know if you get the problem only with our theme?
Regards
Hi there,
Yes it is an issue with your theme. I tried Twenty Seventeen and then the images are working fine on page load.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Hello,
We have checked with the default theme and see the same issue https://gyazo.com/c6ad159fd643d52d46e26bc089271248
Everything depends on page speed and how fast script is loaded.
I have added some custom CSS for the page content to show it only when the page is already loaded and to avoid this effect with the image. Check if this is ok for you.
Regards
Where can I find this code? Then I can use it on the live website.
Thanks in advance!
