Vimeo showing url instead of embedding video

Vimeo videos only show the URL when using the video component and not the video player. I’ve tried multiple urls from other people’s sites as well as my own and none work. I’ve included it as both the “https://player.vimeo.com/video/…” version as well as “https://vimeo.com/…” and neither work. I have the same video embedded on a static site that lives on the same domain so it’s not my hosting blocking Vimeo or anything like that either.

Youtube works fine but I don’t want to use Youtube.

Try to update PHP and MySQL to recommended versions http://prntscr.com/old5vk
It could be the reason of your problem. Because the video element does not work even with the default WP theme on your site, so we are sure that problem is not related to our theme
