Visual Composer Button target not working

Hi there.

I really love the theme and this is probably a dumb mistake.

I’m using Visual Composer to create a button and I had the target=”_blank” code to the button I created (doing it only with the Backend Editor doesn’t solve the problem) but nothing happens. The button keeps opening in the same window/tab and the problem is that it does not had any code to the in order to do it. It is just ignored.

Any help?

Hello,

You’re using old theme and plugins versions. Please update.
Don’t forget to make backup your site before updating.

You can download the latest plugins versions at this link https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ ,
enter your purchase code of the theme to get the plugins.

Updating the version of both the theme, woddpress and every single plugin didn«t solve the issue.

Is there anything I can try? The code target=”_blank” is simply overwritten and doesn’t show in the HTML
