Visual composer message "convert to new version" not disappearing

After installation and import of demo content the visual composer has an overlay over the page editor saying that the page layout is created with an old version of the composer.
A button to convert the page layout is also present. But After converting and saving the page the message stays.

Is there a way to convert the pages by hand or to get the automatic way working? The alternative would be to set up all the pages with the new composer but this is quite time consuming…

Hello,

Are you using the latest theme version 2.2? Did you make the 1st installation of the theme or upgraded it to the latest version? If you upgraded it, did you follow the instructions (especially the notification): https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/upgrade ?
Please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.

it is version 2.2 (purchase & download date 22.5.2014) on a completely “fresh” wordpress setup.
