Hi,
We recently updated the theme. I’m not sure if that’s the cause of the problem with Visual Composer. But Visual Composer is no longer working for us. It is not possible to edit the page, as neither the BackEnd Editor or FrontEnd editor are loading.
Any advice much appreciated,

Hello,
Currently you are using outdated theme and required plugins.
Please update the theme to the latest version and Woocommerce as well.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

LEGENDA THEME VERSION: Is this now 3.1?
LEGENDA/WOOCOMMERCE: please could you clarify your instructions. Do we need to (i) remove the ‘woocommerce’ folder (ii) update Legenda theme (iii) update WooCommerce?
VISUAL COMPOSER PLUGIN: I have downloaded Visual Composer v 5.1.1 to my desktop using the link you provided, thank you. Please can you let me know what to do next? I am not clear on the next step?

1. Update the theme to the current version 3.1. Before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/legenda/ .
2. Update woocommerce plugin to the 2.6.14 version https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/woocommerce.2.6.14.zip . Please don’t update it to the latest 3.0.1 version as there might be incompatibility issue. Our developer team is working now on new theme release.
3. Update Visual Composer, which you downloaded to your desktop. Unzip the archive and upload “js_composer” folder via FTP to your server in wp-content/plugins/ directory with files overwriting.
