I had an issue earlier with Stripe Checkout not working and you uploaded some new files to my server. Now Visual Composer will not save any changes to my home page. I disabled all plugins besides Visual Composer and still the problem persisted, so I think it must be a theme issue.
I can save changes normally on all other pages. But when I try to save changes on the home page on the front end, they don’t take (yes, I cleared my cache, tried different browsers, had another admin try to make changes from his computer and still the same issue). If I try to make changes on the back end (in “normal” mode and in visual composer’s backend mode), every time I hit save I am redirected to the page that lists all my posts in the admin console.
This issue is only for the homepage for some reason.
Hello,
The same issue persists with default WordPress theme “Twenty Sixteen”, so it’s not related to our theme.
Contact your hosting provider support and ask them to set the max_allowed_packets value to 32M, also try to turn off mod security on the host side.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
From my host:
Variables such as max_allowed_packet unfortunately can’t be adjusted regarding our shared / Neutrino platform and I can also confirm that Mod Security is not loaded for the server which hosts your website:
rskeens@web120:~$ sudo apache2ctl -M | grep mod_sec
rskeens@web120:~$
Hello,
Sorry, but the problem is related to your server configuration, not to our theme as it persists with other themes too.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Ok, I’ve got a ticket in with my host. Thank you. I just wanted to send on their response to me.
