Visual Composer Not showing on the Backend

Hey I just purchased and installed the woopress theme. I am having an issue with the back end of the website. The visual composer is not showing the elements on the page, it is trying to load for a long time and then eventually fails. When I switch to the text view in classic mode I can see the code for the demo page but when I switch back to visual composer it tries to load and fails. Please help, I am in a time sensitive situation.

Hello,

Please update Visual Composer plugin to the latest version as there was incompatibility issue between WordPress 4.5 and VC old version. You can download it here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ . Update the plugin via FTP.
