Visual Composer not working on WordPress 4.0.1

Hello,

I’m using The Leader theme (v1.4) in my website. Yesterday, I upgraded my WordPress to latest version (4.0.1). Then the visual composer is not working and the texts built by visual composer are not showing at the website.

Can you please suggest how to solve this problem?

Here is how visual composer text block look like in admin panel.

Hello,

You need update theme to the latest version 1.6.
Don’t forget to make backup your site before.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. Yes I follow your video tutorials and everything is fine. But I got one problem that is the visual composer toggle is not showing up when I create the new page.

Hi Robert,

Currently I was upgrade and installed it in local only. Because our client is running e-commerce on this website and I’m worry the site is going to down. Is there any to do changes in localhost or can I send you the project files and db?

Have you made any changes in the original theme files?
Please update the theme to the latest 1.5.1 version:
https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/installation_upgrade (paragraph “1.5 Theme Upgrade”)
