Visual Composer update no working – Fresh install

I just installed the theme and I can NOT update the WPBakery Visual Composer. The plugin is asking to be updated. Didn’t 8Theme put it updated in the theme folder for download?

Should I updated this plugin or not?

How can I do it?

When I try to do it it says:

An error occurred while updating WPBakery Visual Composer: Update package not available.

How is this going to interfere in a future?

Hello,
Theme version 2.2 includes VC 4.1.2 and you can use this plugin without any troubles.
New version of VC plugin will be produced with the theme update. Or you can buy license key for VC plugin yourself and update it before our new theme release.

What about VC support? if I don0’t have key how can I get support? I need to know why WEBM videos are no showing when using as background. Thank you so much for your help and answer.

Ok here I send the credentials – what I am trying to do is to set as background for a fullwidht row a video background – I do not want to upload all videos I want to be able to set a youtube WEBM video as background – But when i set a WEBM youtube video link it does not show anything – Right now it only works with an upload MP4 video. Also parallax effect seems to be broken.

Hello,

You had to insert the link to the video file with .webm extension.
I’ve uploaded the video to your media library and written the correct URL. You can find it here http://mateocarregno.com/mainsite/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/videoplayback.webm
Now please check your site and clear the browser cache before.

Hi Eva, thank you for your cooperation on this subject. So, every video for background has to be upload? there is not option to set a WEBM youtube video LINK as background?

Sorry to come with this questions but there is no place to find support on visual composer.

Hello,

Yes, you should upload every video file. You can use some storage providers where you can keep your .mp4 or .webm files instead of uploading them to your hosting company server.
Unfortunately there is no such option. Sorry.
