    Hello there,
    Can you please Guide me to change the layout of our site
    https://dynamicdistributors.in/
    to One of the demos built on elementor?
    Here is Link to that demo : https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor3/electronic-mega-market/

    If I import that layout, will the existing product data be wiped or not please clarify it.
    And One more question why do our filters not work on the shop page and Category page?
    Please check why the Category filter is not working on the category page.
    Please check and let me know what setting we are doing wrong.

    Thanks
    DD Team

    Hello, @DD,

    Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

    1/ It is indeed possible to import a new demo to your site while retaining your existing products and text, even old demo content can be saved https://prnt.sc/VhHiJBO3eEMX . However, we recommend taking a complete backup of your current site before proceeding with the import to ensure that no data is lost accidentally. Another way can be creating a staging site (full copy of live site), there you will be able to do a test import. Please note that in case you skip old demo content deleting, new pages and images will be imported with additional IDs, which means some images can be messed up on newly imported pages.
    Maybe it is better not to run a full new import, but to take particular sections from different demos using Studio – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-features/xstudio-feature-of-xstore-wordpress-theme/

    We strongly advise trying this first on a test site, as importing two versions of demo content onto the same site is not the recommended approach and may lead to content overlap, although your previous content will not be deleted without your consent.

    We hope this information is helpful.

    2/ We recommend that you disable all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/). After doing so, please clear your browser’s cache and check again. It is possible that one of these additional plugins is causing the issue.

    If the problem persists, provide us with FTP access in private content area.

    Best Regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hello there,
    thanks for your prompt response.
    Please check the filter for the television category.
    https://dynamicdistributors.in/product-category/television/ It shows only three categories Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/CyxcB9qX34C7 but there are many categories please check this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/PMZRhIDwaJkW

    Please check what can we do to show all the sub-categories on the category page.

    Thanks

    Hi @DD Team,

    Currently, there is no hooks for you to customize the categories filter widget to show the child categories.

    Please take a look at this file: /wp-content/plugins/et-core-plugin/app/models/widgets/categories-filter.php on line 128:

    – Change:

    'include_children' => false,

    – To:

    'include_children' => true,

    Hope it helps!

    Thanks for your help
    I have changed the above-suggested change. Does it overwrite the change when I Update the core plugin?

    Thanks
