Hello,
We have warnings at the checkout page.
Following file:
/wp-content/themes/xstore/woocommerce/checkout/thankyou.php
Refers to on line #51
$order ) ); ?>
checkout/order-received.php – does not exist in woocommece 7.9.0 or xstore theme.
Please advice whether this could cause checkout errors and how to avoid PhP warnings.
Hello, Peter,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern regarding the checkout page warnings on your website.
Please provide URL, temporary wp-admin and FTP access, so we can take a closer look.
To provide wp-admin access, you can create a new user account with administrator role via the Dashboard, and provide us with the username and password via the Private Content area.
To create FTP access (FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, FTP encryption) , please contact your hosting provider for assistance.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Hello,
I will see if I can arrange access, but the issue should be clear even without access, there is not such file (order-received.php) in either woo 7.9 or 8Theme?
See woo 7.9 (no order-received.php)
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/tree/release/7.9/plugins/woocommerce/templates/checkout
However, it was introduced in woo 8:
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/release/8.3/plugins/woocommerce/templates/checkout/order-received.php
Are you not compatible with 7.9? What is the effect of this?
Cheers
Peter
Hello, Peter,
We would like to remind you of the importance of updating WooCommerce to the latest version, so update the WooCommerce plugin to solve your problem. It is crucial to ensure that updates are not limited to the theme and our plugin alone. Please take into account that our team is dedicated to implementing compatibility with the most recent WooCommerce updates. However, it is important to note that these updates may not always be backward compatible.
In the event that only selective updates are applied, it could result in greater complexity and illogicality in our codebase, should we attempt to add checks to our existing code. Therefore, we strongly advise proceeding with a complete update of WooCommerce to maintain optimal functionality and compatibility.
We appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your cooperation.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
