Website Add to cart fuction works very slowly

Hello,

I have a website created, I’ve added a lot of changes to optimize speed (including caching and image optimizaton) and the pages load decently quick, however whenever I select the add to cart button it takes around 5 seconds to load which seems to be a lot.

I’d like to know what causes this and how to fix this.

We would like to inform you that the speed at which Ajax adds items to the cart is contingent upon the response time of the server and the configuration of the database structure. Our theme initiates requests to your database and awaits its response. Therefore, should you experience any slowness, we recommend taking measures to enhance the server’s response time. Unfortunately, this aspect is beyond our control and we are unable to make adjustments in this regard.
