I have been trying to use LOCO to translate and I must say that I was disappointed with the way they do their own translations. I just used WEGLOT to do the english and French translation. But since I am on free trial with them, I can only use one language. I have watched your tutorial on YouTube on how to activate the LOCO plugin but it’s not showing anything on the website after I followed the tutorial.
Can you help with that?

Please read our documentation – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/
To make site multilanguage, you need to use one of the additional plugins:
1) WPML(paid) https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-with-wpml/
2) qTranslate(free)
3) Polylang(free with paid extra options)
If you want to translate the site to one language just use Loco translate plugin. Note that translation files should be placed in /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder with correct names (language name and xstore theme suffix, e.g xstore-de_DE.po, xstore-de_DE.mo).

I can’t find “qTranslate” plugin when I tried to install it. I want to translate to more than one Language. on themeforest.net, I believe they said they plugin came wit the theme and that was the reason I told my client we should buy it.

qTranslate plugin is a free one, so you can download it from the internet.

This is the message I got from WordPress when I wanted to download the plugin.

This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

Are we should I won’t get a bug on the website if I install it into my WordPress project?

I have trying to reach out to WPML plugin team is ask few questions but I can’t seem to find a way to reach out to them without buying their plugin first but I have a question to ask before purchasing it and I don’t know if people who bought your theme have asked that before.

The question is ” Hello, I will like to know if purchase your $29 plugin will work for my WooCommerce Website. Thank you. “

We are XStore theme developers and we are responsible for theme settings only. We can just suggest plugins that may help you to implement some additional features but we are not responsible for these plugins. Contact plugin author to get a clear answer about all the available options and compatibility with the latest WP version.

We are sore the WPML plugin is compatible with the latest WP version because it’s paid plugin and plugin developers release the regular updates. But can tell you nothing about free plugins.
