What is the difference between the vendor and brand function?

Hello,

What is the difference between the vendor and brand function on x-store commerce section of the website?

Can we use both?
For example if we have a brand called “pizza chips” can we use that on the brand section but also on the vendor section?

Brands – our custom post type.

Vendors – come from an additional plugin on your site.

Yes, you can use both.

Vendors – come from an additional plugin on your site.

Do we need a different plugin in order for the “Vendors” side of the website to work?

Yes, it is possible to activate the multivendor plugin, for example – Dokan https://dokan.co/docs/wordpress/ independently of the imported demo version.
