Hello, I’ve been trying to improve the Lighthouse score for my website and I was wondering if there was more room for improvement.
If so, what are some things changes can I make?
(sorry, I am a designer, new to the development side of things)
Thank you!
P.S. I am using Perfmatters and Imagify (paid versions). I’ve already enabled lazy loading, font display swap, webp versions of the images, and delayed javascript.
Hello,
1/ https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-speed-up-my-website/
2/ Test settings in Theme Settings -> Speed Optimization https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/main-theme-options/
+ Theme Settings -> General / Layout -> Mobile content optimization
3/ As we see from your report you have questions related to /wp-content/uploads/elementor/css (Elementor plugin). You may contact them about improving css loading speed -> https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/elementor/
4/ You should check your image sizes all across the site and their weights. If your image, for example, will take a max 300px on the screen there is no sense to load 2000x3000px image for such a case. Also, before uploading images to media it is recommended to optimize them with some tool like – https://tinypng.com/
5/ Elementor plugin has some settings which you should check also (Dashboard -> Elementor -> Settings )
