What's the new update all about + updating old version instruction

Hi,

What is new with the new version? Should i go and update mine?
We made a lot of customization on the theme already using css and theme settings
I don’t want to ruin the site after the update. Can you send me a link how to update my theme without losing everything?

Hello,

You can find changelog here https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/update-history/

If you made customization in child theme template files you won’t lose it after theme update.
Follow the steps bellow to update theme:
1) Do the backup of all your files and DB. Also, backup theme options: go to Theme Options > Import/Export > Options > copy data and save in txt file or download .json file.
2) You may use autoupdate (Dashboard > Updates) method or manual update (FTP method https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/ )

You can also provide admin panel and FTP access and we’ll update theme for you.
