Hello,
we wanna setup default headline fontsize for H1 and H2 elements in footer.
So we entered fontsize for h1, h2, h3… in elementor default font settings. But its not applied to custom elementor footer. We also try to change the fontsize via theme customizer, but this also not works.
Please, coud you send us an screenshot which settings we have to change to work with default fontsizes for h1 and h2 in footer?
We do not use any cache plugin.
We disabled all other plugins.
Tested in privat tab.
Regenerated CSS via elementor tools tab.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Here are examples of settings in Footer Builder with Elementor – https://prnt.sc/g7-TxMKHyvZ4 https://prnt.sc/OcM8aesVrSMG

Hello,
why typo default settings from elementor are not added to H1, h2…?
I know that we can add custom sizes via individual settings. But we need to apply H1 and H2 Styling from elementor to footer.
Its working for example for header. So why default typo settings are not added to H1 and H2 to footer section?
And second problem with footer:
The element (menu list) have “p” tag, but the default font setting for p tag is not added from elementor to it. Screenshot: https://ibb.co/sJRDtD1 The screenshot shows: The front from Headline is added to p tag and this is wrong.
We asked elementor pro support to help us. The show us it shoud work fine, but not working fine with your theme.
So finally the default font settings from elementor are not added to custom footer template and to the widgets in footer.
Why not? Please fix it. We do not wanna add all font settings to each element in footer again and again. We using elementor and it shoud work without any bug.
Elementor confirmed its a bug and showing how it shoud work with another theme and with storefront.
Also all your other widgets working fine with default font settings, but not this widget in elementor footer template.

Dear @Tommy,
Thank you for reaching out and for providing information regarding the testing of our Menu List widget.
We would like to kindly clarify that this widget was developed quite some time ago, and its structure cannot currently be modified to accommodate all the options available in Elementor’s global configuration settings. By default, when this widget is added, the tag for subtitles is set to h3
. If you wish to change this to a different tag, you can easily do so by adjusting the tag option within the menu item settings (https://prnt.sc/A683no5g1EUh).
Additionally, typography settings can be customized by configuring the global fonts for menu items in the Style tab. Please refer to this screenshot for guidance: https://prnt.sc/Vft9mlBuyQx2. Once these settings are applied, the typography styles will inherit the values defined in Elementor’s general settings, which should help you achieve the desired outcome.
However, as mentioned earlier, due to the widget’s existing structure, it is not possible to enable such inheritance by default. We kindly suggest implementing the solution outlined above and letting us know if the results align with your expectations.
If you would prefer us to develop a new widget that fully meets your requirements, we encourage you to submit your request on our Future Requests Taskboard: https://www.8theme.com/roadmap/. This platform allows other customers to vote on suggestions, helping us prioritize future developments.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.
Best regards,

Hello Jack,
why the headline apply the H2 tag to element under the headline?
This have no logic.
So finally the headline of this widget is H2 and the items (menus) also have H2 tag now.
Why this widget is not working with most important Elementor’s global font settings? If we use this element now we shoud setup all styles again and again. Why other themes solve this issue much smarter by adding full compatibility and your theme can not handle this?
This is an absolute mess:
Now we have to create a list for your theme widgets:
a) Which one can handle custom font via global font settings.
b) Which one can not handle custom font but can not font-size
c) Which one can handle both
d) Which widget does not work in all cases with global font settings
Your wrote your theme is compatible with elementor. But when it comes to most important case your theme break with elementor and we need to take care to not use widget “with old structure”. Sorry, i understand you, but this is now way. You shoud work on compatibilitiy issue and do not wait for enough requests in your voting board. We purchased an fully compatible elementor theme for our client and all your other clients also.

Dear @Tommy,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
As we mentioned previously, we have not received similar requests from other customers, which suggests that this particular configuration is not widely sought after. However, since you have conducted tests and identified areas where certain widgets could be improved, we kindly ask you to submit your request on our task board. This will allow us to evaluate its popularity based on customer votes.
Additionally, we will review the list of widgets you mentioned you plan to create and forward it to our development team for further assessment.
We appreciate your feedback and efforts in helping us improve. Should you have any further questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Thank you once again!

Hello Jack,
so finally the result is:
In general elementor will add global font settings for h1 to every widget with h1 tag.
This is working for all widgets with h tag.
But when it comes to this one widget, its not applied to h tagged title.
Question:
Why its not possible for you to add H font styling from general settings to this widget which have H tag?
You do it for all other widget, but not for Menu List.
And most confusing is:
You can select for menu element the p tag style. But its also not applied. Instead of this you will see the style from h tag applied to menu item. But you select p style.
This have no logic. https://ibb.co/SRtbDTc
So i noticed to client:
Please use “headline” widget and add h tag to it. To this widget the h style will be added. Or use another menu list widget from another widget developer, this works fine with H default styles from elementor general settings.
I hope you will improve this case. Because every time if you use a menu list you need to setup the styling from the scratch. Elementor s build to save time and work smarter.

Dear @Tommy,
I hope this message finds you well.
As you may already know, our processes are designed to align with the needs of our customers. Up until now, we have not received similar requests, as most clients have been able to customize styles and typography directly within the widget you mentioned. This widget offers a variety of options, including color and typography settings (https://prnt.sc/Vb3rm7_LU_ty). Also, there is unique styles options for each menu item if there is such need (https://prnt.sc/a-TEYbdhGY82). Additionally, you can create a global widget (please refer to this guide: https://elementor.com/help/global-widget-pro/) or simply use the right-click feature to copy styles and apply them to another menu list widget.
That said, if you still require this specific functionality to be reviewed, we kindly encourage you to submit your request on our task board here: https://www.8theme.com/roadmap/. This will allow us to assess its popularity and consider it for future updates.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Hello Jack,
elementor support say: it shoud work if your current theme is fully compatible with elementor.
And my question to you is:
Why its not possible for you to add H font styling from general settings to this widget which have H tag?
You do it for all other widget, but not for Menu List.
Why we shoud copy and paste styles or need to work with templates to apply always the same style for this element and can not have a fully compatibility to elementor like you already doing with all other widgets?

Hello Jack,
yesterday we get feedback from elementor pro support. They confirmed your theme is not fully compatible with elementor pro if your widget is not working like that.
That is nothing about a special need or special request, this is how elementor themes shoud work and this is how elementor settings work. Your theme do not reflect that settings in the shown widget.
We going to tell this to our clients.
I dont wanna report that case with all 40 customer accounts they have paid licence and vote for vor that request by all customer accounts. You shoud make your theme fully compatible without any request.

I asked elementor again and this was the feedback:
Thank you for reaching out to us. The feature you are referring to should be natively supported by your theme. Elementor provides this functionality out-of-the-box, and most Elementor-compatible themes also offer support for it by default. Therefore, we do not believe this is a custom request. Instead, it appears to be a matter that your theme should handle inherently. We recommend reaching out to the theme developers for further assistance. Alternatively, your theme provider can visit our developer resources or reach out to us via GitHub for additional support. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us. We’re happy to help!
Now i will ask on github if a elementor compatible theme will / need to support this or its a custom function request.
