    Hi,

This is possiblly more woocommerce than woopress but I thought I’d ask 🙂

During the checkout process, (link below) I would prefer customers to have to register before they reach the payment stage, as I’m sdure you know the registeration details an payment details are all on one page.

My Q is: Is there a simple way to remedy this?

I did try adding a new page and selected the “customer register page” template to see if I can force users through this page first but all I get is a 404.

    Thanks
    Pete

    Hello,

You can enable registration in Woocommerce > Settings > Checkout tab > uncheck “Enable guest checkout” and select “Enable registration on the “Checkout” page” in “Accounts” tab.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi Jack,

Thanks for the info, I found “Enable guest checkout” on the accounts tab, I assume that the same one.

I followed the next step and still the customer can register on the same page as entering the payment details. If I uncheck the “Enable registration on the “Checkout” page” then you are prompted to login but you cannot register anywhere?

    Hello,

Please check the page attentively. Here is the option for registration on Checkout page:
