WooCommerce 2.3 Incompatibility - by robertstaddon

TheLeader theme is not compatible with the latest WooCommerce 2.3 release. I receive the error from WooCommerce: “Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files. If you notice an issue on your site, this could be the reason. Please contact your theme developer for further assistance.”

A further look at the logs reveal the following errors with the latest version of TheLeader (1.7) and WooCommerce 2.3:

theleader/woocommerce/cart/cart-totals.php version 2.1.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.3.0,
theleader/woocommerce/cart/cart.php version 2.1.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.3.0,
theleader/woocommerce/checkout/form-checkout.php version 2.0.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.3.0,
theleader/woocommerce/checkout/review-order.php version 2.1.8 is out of date. The core version is 2.3.0,
theleader/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/variable.php version 2.1.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.3.0,
theleader/woocommerce/single-product/product-thumbnails.php version 2.0.3 is out of date. The core version is 2.3.0,
theleader/woocommerce/single-product-reviews.php version 2.1.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.3.2,

This has resulted in quite a few display problems on my site. Please patch the theme. Thanks!

There are two issues that pop up whenever WooCommerce 2.3 is activated on my WordPress Multisite (Network) installation with TheLeader theme.

First, I can no longer see the black admin bar at the top of the screen on the frontend of the site after logging in. There is a white area where it is supposed to be but no bar — the HTML code for the admin bar never appears on the page.

Second, if I enable “Nice scroll” in the Theme options, I get a JavaScript error in the console and I can no longer see the Revolution Slider. The error is “Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function” (index):278 and happens when the line “jQuery(“html”).niceScroll({” is called.

The issues above are not caused by any other plugin because they occur if all plugins are deactivated except for WooCommerce 2.3. The only ways of working around them is to either deactivate WooCommerce 2.3, roll back to a pre-2.3 version, or change to a different theme.

I’ve included the connection information in the private content area. Keep in mind that this is a WordPress Multisite installation so the FTP account only gives access to the active child theme directory that is being used with TheLeader theme.

Why? Obviously I can’t give you access to all the sites on the Multisite network. Would you like an FTP login to the parent theme? What else do you need access to?

Then please enable debug mode in wp-config.php file and give us permissions to access parent theme directory.

The issue with black bar of wp-admin panel has been fixed. Please check.
Concerning the slider I’ve deactivated Nice Scroll option. This bug should be fixed in the next theme update. Now you can disable debug mode.

Hello,

I’m using TheLeaderTheme.

I’ve just discovered I have the same compatibility issues with Woocommerce 2.3.5 and WPBakery Visual Composer 4.4.2. When both are active it effects the dropdown menus (on my laptop) and the main menu on my mobile device. When both are deactivated the menu works fine.
