Hello again!
After your splendid help with my problem getting the product images sized properly;
https://www.8theme.com/topic/trouble-replicating-glasses-demo-product-layout/
I have managed to keep the layout exactly as that, even after the various updates of plugins and theme.
But today when I updated WooCommerce I noticed that the miniatures under the product slider had turned all small and square.
Furthermore I noticed that for some ungodly reason the WooCommerce developers have now decided to remove the easy to understand image settings under the Settings > Products tab, and instead move product image size handling into the horrendously inept front end “Customizer”.
The options there will not turn our slider miniatures back to their previous beautiful size.
What can I do short of downgrading our shop again?
Help!
I’m very sorry, I’ve written the wrong WooCommerce version in Topic Header and in the other spot for WooCommerce version number! =´´´(
The version numbers should have read: 3.3.2
Not: 3.2.2
I have now also installed and tried the WooCommerce version 3.3.3 which was released yesterday with the same unfortunate results =\
Hello,
Yes, problem is caused by WC update and we’ll fix it in next theme update. It will be released within next day, I think.
Regards
Thank you so much for the news that it can be fixed!
I was really worried WooCommerce had broken something really bad like they have with their now counter-intuitive shipping functions.
We’ll do our best to fix it ASAP.
Regards
Wohoo!!! The shop miniatures look beautiful again!!! =D
Thank you so very much Olga and everyone at 8theme, your kind and helpful support is beyond amazing!
I tried to give you more than a 5 star review on themeforest.net but it seems they have limited their stars to only 5. Maybe they are worried that your review page would blind people otherwise =)
I wish you all the very best of weekends! =)
