Hi. Today I have noticed, that when we checkout on our testing site it will ask if the browser should remember the password and username. Have tested this in FireFox and Chrome. Same result, it will try to remember the phone number instead of the username. Please see below:

Hello,
Please clarify how we can replicate this issue. I tried to checkout on your site and didn’t get such notification.

Hi Eva. Thank you for looking into this matter. I did manage to reproduce this issue, please see img below:
To achieve this:
1/ In the backend, please turn OFF the maintenance mode.
2/ Logout from the backend
3/ You should be able to visit the frontend as a new customer (not registered)
4/ Trying buying any product(s) and at the checkout tick the box to create an account with password (on this note, I would ask if there is an option to get the customer to type in his password twice?!)
5/ Proceed to payment. You should get the reminder for remembering the password for your phone number 🙂
6/ Turn maintenance mode back on from the backend.
Let me know if you managed to reproduce it.
Regards,
George
Hello,
Thank you for explanation.
This is Woocommerce issue as the problem persists with default WordPress theme too. In this case you can try to untick “Automatically generate username from customer email” in Woocommerce > Settings > Accounts tab > Registration Options.
Check it after that. Otherwise you have to contact Woocommerce support concerning this issue.

Eva Kemp.
It does look like it will try to remember the field before the password. Your workaround did solve this problem. Thank you Eva, good to have you 😉
