I hope this email finds you in good health. I’m writing to seek assistance with a couple of new issues that have arisen on my website:
1. WooCommerce Template Outdated: After updating WooCommerce, I received a notification indicating that my theme (Main02) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. It mentions specifically “xstore/woocommerce/cart/cart-shipping.php version 8.6.0 is out of date. The core version is 8.8.0.” I’m concerned about the potential impact this may have on my site. Could you advise me on how to proceed? Should I wait for an update from XStore, or is there a manual update process that I need to follow to ensure compatibility?
2. Cart Page Template vs. WooCommerce Shortcode: I’ve been using the cart page template provided by 8theme instead of the [woocommerce_cart] shortcode due to some display errors and uncertainty on how to customize it. Will this affect the functionality of my cart, especially in light of the aforementioned template update issue? Is there a recommended approach to ensure the cart operates smoothly and integrates with the latest WooCommerce updates?
