Woocommerce menu for logged out users - by gamrah

Hi there,
Pretty simple one (I hope) – Trying to change the text in the drop down menu for logged out users (in attached URL) from “new clients” to “new customers”. The My Account menu is currently the default (from appearance -> menus I haven’t changed anything) but I cannot for the life of my figure out where I should make the change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello,

You can change text using translation files. Install Loco translate plugin https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/ , create English translation, change desired strings of XStore theme and disable the Loco translate.

Great, thank you very much. 2 things:
– Am i ok to delete the plugin or just leave it un-installed?
– i made the change on the child setting, does that mean there shouldn’t be any risk of it changing back during an update?

1) You can delete the plugin.
2) If you do all your changes in the child theme then you will not lose anything after the update.
Note, we would recommend you to create a backup of your files and database before starting the update process. Your theme options could be exported in a file (Theme Options > Import/Export > Options > Export Options) to be able to restore the site to the previous state if something goes wrong.
