    Hi,

We have picked up 2 issues with our site that seem theme related (These errors don’t seem to be when we use a different theme. We have also tried disabling all plugins and the errors still persist, until we change the theme.):

    1. When doing certain edits in the site backend the site crashes / we get a site experienced an error notice. Going back in the browser then takes one back to the site. Usually the edit was still completed.
    2. The emails that should be firing off to the customer from WC don’t. The admin mails do however and if I send an invoice from the backend that also works.

    Hello, MagineM,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns.

1/ We are sorry to hear that your site experiences crashes when making certain edits in the backend. This is certainly not the experience we want our customers to have. We would like to investigate this further to determine the root cause and provide a solution. Could you please provide us with specific steps to reproduce the error, as well as any relevant screenshots or error messages? This information will be invaluable in helping us resolve the issue promptly.

2/ As for the WooCommerce emails not being sent to customers, this is also a matter we take seriously. We want to ensure that all communication channels between you and your customers are functioning correctly. To assist you better, could you please confirm if you have checked the email settings within WooCommerce and ensured that they are configured correctly? Additionally, it would be helpful to know if there are any particular email types that are not being sent, or if the issue is with all customer emails.

    Provide temporary wp-admin access.

3/ Please check how it works when not Legenda theme is activated, but a default WooCommerce theme – Storefront (Appearance > Themes). Let us know the results of the tests with screenshots.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Hi,

Thank you for your response. After some more testing, we have found the issue to be in the child-theme. There was a syntax error in one of the customised template files.
After correcting that, all seems to be in order.
