    Hello!

Normally I use Chrome building my new site but today I had a look using Safari & Firefox. Unfortunately I saw no HTML5 Video is working there. Already invested 3 hours to update and test everything (installed latest version of the theme, updated all plugins, even deactivated all plugins that are not necessary) – nothing helped. The MP4/WEBM/OGG-Videos work fine on Chrome when inserting the URLs I added to Revolution Slider in a new tab. Even background video using VC works without problems on chrome.

Do you have any idea what may cause the problem?

    Best regards,
    Jan

We can’t view your site in FireFox or Safari browser, need authentication – login and password. http://prntscr.com/8rhj84

The video should be on top of the startpage http://wp-superheros.com/ – in Chrome (Mac) I see video here.

    Hi Jack,

I´ve tested this on Firefox, Safari & Opera on the Mac – no video is shown. Only Chrome (Mac) is fine.

    Safari: no Video, no previewimage
    Firefox: no Video, but previewimage
    Opera: no Video, but previewimage

Even tried the background-video-effect form Visual Composer – same result.

    Best regards,
    Jan

    Hello,

When checking your site in Safari additional authorization is being asked to view the video:
http://storage9.static.itmages.com/i/15/1015/h_1444904966_1570389_89c47afcdb.png . This window is shown behind the browser.
Try to disable additional authorization for your site and check video after that.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi Jack,

ok, I put the videos on an other domain. I even removed all authorization for testing this. The problem still remains… 🙁

    Any idea?

    Best regards,
    Jan

    Hi Jack,

    found a solution for Safari!
Used an other converter for the videos and now the video is being showed. On Firefox I still have the fallbackimgae, but I´ll check this on a PC later, too.

    Thanks for your help!
