WordPress reset database with WP Database reset issue, can't log to my website

Hi all,

Sorry for my bad english before anything…

First of all i run a multisite wordpress, ( i save the files wp-config.phpand .htaccess before doing it) if it was easy i think i will go back to standart installation.

I would like to use a prebuild theme ( template) and it told me to use the plugging WP Database reset, i use it on my main website but after it finish i loose connection to my website.

right now i am not able to connecte to the wordpress admin page or anything, and i always got the error ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

I am really stuck and don’t know what to do .

I found that in ovh i can restore previous database, i did and it work… But I will not reset database before aply theme .. because i can”‘t

Hello,

Take my apologies for the delay in answering.
You need to use the mentioned plugin only if you want to clear your WP installation. Besides, check the plugin docs on how it works with the WP multisite. Probably you need to reset not all the DB tables but just some of them to avoid the mentioned issue.
If you don’t need to clear the WP installation just skip the recommendation about the plugin.
