Hi, I have encountered this problem time (a lot of time) ago and honestly I didn’t know how was solved but, it was.
Anyway, now I am having the same problem, exactly same, as the guy in this topic:
https://www.8theme.com/topic/wp-bakery-plugin-does-not-allow-me-to-use-the-backend-editor/
meaning, I cannot access to the backend editor, I cannot edit neither the “screen options” since it won’t happened anything when I click on it. I can however access to the frontend editor BUT I can’t save any change I make.
I have the plugins up to date and also deactivated everything that wasn’t in this list: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/
Hello,
Credentials to wp-admin panel are incorrect. Please check them.
Have you checked if the problem occurs with a default theme?
Regards
No, I haven’t tried with a default theme.
I do not see the problem – http://prntscr.com/jghzpi Please clear cache and check one more time, or describe the issue in more details.

I just checked with Firefox and you’re right, there’s not a problem at all. Seems the problem shows only while using Safari. I don’t know what to say about this, I am a Safari user and until some days ago the plugin was working just fine.
What version of the Safari browser are you using?
Regards
Hi, sorry for the late answer. I got the version 11.1
And btw, I just noticed also that some changes I make, they won’t show up in Safari but they will in Firefox.
For instance, I changed the size of the logo header adding this CSS in Theme Options > Custom CCS and even if in Firefox it display fine, in Safari the logo won’t show any changes at all.
How come?
Hello,
We have checked the page editing process in Safari and did not face any issues https://gyazo.com/0c73e44ce3c6fe3201a1fee5e5bbe614 and any problem with logo size https://gyazo.com/5987b58c8cfe57366a5104a499b5e0f8
Maybe it’s your local PC problems. Can you try to edit page etc on other PC using Safari? Maybe you have some browser extensions that caused this issue for you.
Regards
