    Dear Support Team,

I’m experiencing an issue with WPBakery Page Builder. When editing existing products and attempting to modify text blocks, the content doesn’t display in the popup—neither in Visual nor Text mode. The field where the text should be is blank. This problem started a week ago. I’ve tried with two different laptops and browsers, and clearing the cache via WP Rocket didn’t help. I have the latest version of WPBakery installed.

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello RobertG,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We recommend that you disable all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore
(https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins). After doing so, please clear your browser’s cache and check again. It is possible that one of these additional plugins is causing the problem.

If this doesn’t help, please provide us with FTP access.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

Thank you for your response. I deactivated WP Rocket and then disabled all third-party plugins one by one. I tested in incognito mode, but unfortunately, the issue persists. I will send the FTP access details privately.

    Best regards,

    Please contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello RobertG,

    We appreciate your prompt response.

Please do one more test: temporarily activate the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront (go to Appearance > Themes), and check the editor behavior after that.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

Unfortunately, it didn’t work with this template either. I noticed that I can’t choose between text and visual on the right side.

When I click on text or visual buttons, I get the following error in the console:

    Hello, RobertG,

We have observed that the error persists even with the default theme, leading us to conclude that the problem is not exclusively related to the XStore theme.

From the errors identified on the editing page, it appears there is an issue with the order in which the default scripts are loaded, which is causing these problems. Consequently, we need to ascertain whether any modifications have been made to the WordPress installation or if there have been any enhancements aimed at improving loading speeds that could potentially affect script loading.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your prompt response to address this matter effectively.

    Best Regards,

I had WP Rocket installed on my WordPress site and also activated a JS Minifier through my hosting provider, Hostinger. I enabled these about a year ago, and I hadn’t encountered any issues until two weeks ago. When I noticed the error, I deactivated both, but WPBakery still isn’t working. Is there any way to restore the corrupted files?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hello, RobertG,

To restore your files from WPBakery, you may reinstall it by downloading the necessary archives from the “Downloadable Files” section of your account on the 8theme website.

Regarding WordPress files, you can utilize the WordPress reinstallation option available under Dashboard -> Updates.

However, before proceeding, we strongly advise you to create backups and, if possible, set up a staging site to try restoring everything there first.

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best Regards,
    The 8Theme Team
