WPBakery will not update via Plugins Installer

I am using the Plugins installer to try and update WPBakery and Slider Revolution, however I have pressed ‘update’ numerous times for both but when the page refreshes it still says ‘new version available’ and the update doesn’t install. I am using WPB V6.11.0 and SR V6.6.7 at the moment. Can you please let me know how to get these two updated.

Please check the available versions of plugins on this page – https://www.8theme.com/downloads/
To update premium plugins, connect to your server using FTP. Copy extracted plugins folders into wp-content/plugins/ . The latest versions of plugins you can find on the Downloads page – https://www.8theme.com/downloads/

Okay, I downloaded the latest version, then uploaded js_composer via FTP after renaming the old file to js_composer-BACK.

Now in ‘Plugins Installer’ I am being told to activate the new version 6.13.0 but getting the following error –

Oops it looks something went wrong. Please check your system requirements first. In case it will happened again, please, contact us 8theme.com

I’ve now had to remove the update files from the plugins directory and revert back to the older version 6.11.0. There is now no ‘update’ available in the plugins installer for WPBakery.

I haven’t even attempted the Slider revolution. What do I do now? Thanks, Debbie

Please follow the next steps:
1/ download WPBakery Page Builder from this page https://www.8theme.com/downloads/
2/ go to Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > upload plugin > select the downloaded archive > Install now https://prnt.sc/wt20RqgUHxnz > click here – https://prnt.sc/GdsRUKuznhv2 and the plugin will be updated – https://prnt.sc/BrLvDO7jT5Zt
