I found it again about the widget. So now footer2 is visible again. the only thing now is that I cannot change the text block in language. WPML keeps it the same on the english as the dutch site.
    Can you help me?

    Beste Regards,

    Bob

    Hello,

As you use widgets in Footer you need translate widgets as described in WPML documentation:
    https://wpml.org/2011/03/howto-display-different-widgets-per-language/
    Please try it.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
