Good morning, I have asked this question before on another topic. It seemed to be solved (setting tabs height was not saved, but there appeared to be a limit of 800 for this). Unfortunately that turned out to be a bad example because there is a real problem with my version of Xstore. I cannot (always) save changes. I made a video (screen recording) to show you what I mean. The link for this is in the private content area.

As you can see, I am adjusting certain colors. I then try to save them and it is already visible that the Publish button lights up very briefly but does not change to the gray color that you should see when the status changes to published. This is a serious problem for me and I would like to ask again if you can identify and fix this error. Besides this being annoying when you want to make changes, it also gives an unpleasant feeling to know that something is not functioning properly somewhere.

I think you still have access to my back office from another ticket? If not, I can share it again if necessary. I hope that you would now really look into this thoroughly and come up with a solution. Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

We’ve disabled the WP Rocket plugin and here is the result – https://prnt.sc/puZVRk5DnlND It looks like you faced a cache issue.

    Kind Regards,

Hi Rose, first of all thanks for the adjustment. I really appreciate the support, but I think it is important to determine the core of the problem and solve it.

WP Rocket can’t really be the problem. I actually just installed this plugin two hours ago… And the problems were already there before that. Even though you were able to make adjustments to the tabs, the problem has not been solved. I tried again to make an adjustment myself. This time, just to be safe, I used Chrome instead of Safari. As you can see in the video that I sent as a link to the private content area, I can’t still save the changes (and not in Chrome either). To be clear: I made these changes without reactivating WP Rocket.

You indicate that it appears that there is a cache problem. If that is the case, I would like to know how this can be resolved. Apparently there is something fundamentally wrong with the installation and that is not a nice feeling for an instrument on which I will soon be partly dependent for my income. So I would like to ask again if you could thoroughly investigate the problem and fix it.

Hi Rose, I watched the movie and I see everything works as it should at your end. That in itself is good news, but (as my videos show) I cannot save anything. I tried again in various browsers but no results. In Safari I get a 500 and 404 message (see images). The fact that it works for you is positive, but I don’t have a solution yet. Can you indicate how this problem could arise? And especially how can I solve it? Does it have to do with a certain setting on my MacBook perhaps? I just updated everything on the machine, cleared cache, and rebooted but no results. I understand that it is not necessarily the theme in this case, but have you had a similar case before and were you able to solve it?

And would you (since I can’t edit it) at least reset the points you changed in the video. That would be very nice. I look forward to hearing from you again.

    Dear @Arnan,

We have successfully reverted the changes as per your request. Additionally, we have conducted tests across various browsers and devices to address your main concern. I am pleased to inform you that all tests were successful. Below are the details of the browser versions we tested:

    **Safari:**
    – Version 16.6 (18615.3.12.11.2)
    – Version 14.1.2 (14611.3.10.1.7)

    **Chrome:**
    – Version 124.0.6367.201 (official) (x86_64)
    – Version 116.0.5845.187

We have identified a potential issue regarding the non-loading of Theme Options on your end, which may be due to incorrect translations that are causing critical errors. We recommend reviewing and correcting these errors. You can find the problematic lines at the following links:
    https://prnt.sc/mqXjEdCkI2VI
    https://prnt.sc/OONjrOEobyqs

We hope that resolving these translation errors will resolve the issue and allow you to fully utilize the Theme Options from your device.

Hi Jack, thanks for the effort. It is nice that the tests were successful. I hope that checking the translations can solve the problem. I have two questions about that.

The first is should I check these translations under the xstore, xstore-core or xstore-child folder (or all three)? The second one may be a bit of a stupid question, but on the screenshots you refer to the % signs and on the others to a number. I don’t quite understand what I should adjust here for correct operation. Should the percent sign be removed or should the values 1, 2 and so on?

Hi Jack, I found the file that contained the errors. I adjusted this and it works again! I am very happy with this. Thank you very much for your help. I can continue building with confidence 😉
