Xstore electronics demo installation - by pablogri

Hi,I want the same as https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/electronics/ , i follow the installation and complete without error, but i did not get the same result as they is not shop page and vertical menu, home slider, etc. Please help.

Hello,

Please, make sure you have checked all the server requirements before the installation https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/xstore-theme-requirements/
Install and activate all required and recommended plugins (Appearance > Install plugins). Then install the desired version (Theme Options > Import / Export > Dummy content > Import demo versions).

If you don’t want to import all our dummy content, or you just need separate pages from our demo, or if you can’t use one click import according to the server settings, Import of .XML files is your best option. We’ve included all the demo versions and additional pages in the Import to XML Files folder of the theme’s package, where you’ll be able to see the theme’s .xml files and Revolution Slider archive files. XStore Theme Options can also be imported by copying the text file and pasting its content into the Import from File field on the Import/Export tab in XStore Theme Options.

Vertical menu is a secondary menu, that can’t be imported because WP does not support custom menu options, you need to create own menu. Please read more https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/menu-set-up/
To create secondary menu go to Appearance > Menus > create menu and choose as secondary in Theme Locations. Mega menu works almost the same way for the secondary menu as for the main menu but in vertical design https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/menu-set-up/mega-menu/
In 4.16 theme version Menu options were moved into popup https://prnt.sc/idhhcf so to be able to see all menu settings, you need to click on “8Theme Page Options”.

Hi, thanks for your response. I’ve tried but I can´t make the vertical menu.
By the way, the header does not show the background color and the slider does not load. I downloaded all the examples of sliders but I can´t find the slider ¨home-electronics¨. Can you look at my site to see what the problem is?
