    Hello,

I have recently purchased your theme. I installed the WP Rocket plugin, but I couldn’t find the JavaScript and CSS that need to be excluded, as mentioned in the documentation. When I set it up like in the screenshot, the CSS does not load, and the site appears style-less. For the settings shown in the screenshot, which CSS and JS should we exclude, and do you recommend using the “Delay JavaScript Execution” for your theme?

    The areas I mentioned are:

    “CSS safelist”
    “Excluded Inline JavaScript”
    “Excluded JavaScript Files”
    “Excluded JavaScript Files”
Additionally, what are your suggestions for performance besides lazy loading and caching? I understand that the same settings do not apply to every site. I think that basic performance settings can be explained more clearly.

    Hello, @HarunD,

Thank you so much for purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.

1/ Please deactivate the Redis Object Cache plugin on your site and use only one cache plugin (Wp-rocket).

2/ Regarding Optimal Settings for Xstore with WP Rocket, Please read next topic and our documentation:

    a/ https://www.8theme.com/topic/xstore-optimization-settings-exclusions-for-the-cache-plugin/#post-389888

    b/ https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/main-theme-options/

    c/ https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-improve-wp-rocket-settings-with-xstore/

3/ Kindly proceed to Xstore > Theme Options > Speed Optimization. Once there, please locate and select Menu Dropdown Cache, Menu Cache, Static Blocks Cache, CSS Minification and Remove Query Strings From Static Resources. Subsequently, turn off these options.

We hope this information is helpful.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

Thank you for your answer first of all.

Yes, actually, I installed a second cache plugin just to test it, but there will be only one on my site, and that will be the wp rocket cache plugin.

After activating Delay JavaScript Execution, which js related to the theme should be excluded in the Excluded JavaScript Files field? Similarly, what are the theme-related css files that need to be excluded for Minify css files?

    Dear HarunD,

We hope this message finds you well.

We are reaching out to inquire whether you have encountered any issues with your theme upon the activation of the WP-Rocket plugin. Should you not observe any problems, there would be no necessity to exclude the JavaScript or CSS files from the plugin’s operations.

We appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your confirmation.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team
