    Hi,

Just updated all plugins in the standard WordPress plugin manager system which worked fine. But when updating FileBird Pro via the XStore plugin manager it crashed the website.

Only two plugins that I normally update via XStore plugin manager are FileBird Pro and WPBakery Page Builder (which needs to be updated but did not show up as available for updating so I was planning to do that manually via your support site which happens time to time).

I need support to get the website up and running again.

    Hello, Christian,

We wanted to inform you that we have renamed the “revslider” plugin folder to disable the plugin, and as a result, the website can be opened.

Could you kindly provide us with temporary WP-Admin access to proceed further? Additionally, could you let us know the PHP version currently in use on your server?

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Thanks!

Ah, it was rev-slider that I updated via the XStore plugin manager that broke it.

Let me know when I can update the XStore related plugins safely!
(or feel free to do the updates to check that it all runs smoothly.)

    Check Private content area.

    Best regards,
    Christian

    Hello, Christian,

We’ve reuploaded the Slider plugin on your site. Please check the result.

Next time you can download plugins from – https://www.8theme.com/downloads/

Go to Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Upload plugin > Choose plugin (downloaded from https://www.8theme.com/downloads) > Install now > click on “Replace current with uploaded”, and the plugin will be updated on your site.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

Thanks, that is what I have been doing in the past manually downloading the related plugins but is it also safe to update, for example, revslider from your plugin manager in the future?

Thanks for great & fast support!

    Best,
    Christian
