Xstore Theme not updating (Giving error)

Hello,
My website is on latest version of wordpress version 5.6 (Latest version)
And my Xstore is Version 2.2.3 and everytime I try to update it I get this error:

“Update failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature”

I bought a new license key but the Register Theme button is not clickable.

What must I do?

Hello,

The update can be done manually via FTP – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/ https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/plugins-update/
Your theme version is very old, we would recommend you to create a staging site (full copy of the existing site) and provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP access to your staging site. We’ll help you with the theme update, you’ll check if everything is ok. If yes then we’ll help you with the production site update.

We can’t answer why it can’t be registered by description only. We need access to log in to the site and take a closer look at the situation.

I have sent in the private content,
I tried manually updating it, it worked but the website was not respoding. I had it backed up so i restored it all now and waiting for you.

Contact your hosting provider to get correct FTP or SFTP access. I’m not familiar with your hosting settings.

Is there any other way we can try?

We need access to your site files. So, we need either FTP/SFTP or cPanel access to your site. But FTP/SFTP is better.
