XStore update-How to retain all changes done to childtheme

    Hi I am using Furniture child theme …there is update of Xstore pluging, when I updated it…its aksing to update the theme also but giving message that all customization will be lost…..

    Can you please guide me how to save the customization and then update and again apply the saved customizations?

    Hello, Webpat,

    Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

    If all changes were done correctly in child theme files, you will not lose changes after the parent theme update.
    We would recommend you to ask your hosting provider to create a full backup, so you can restore the site in case something goes wrong. Or you can create a staging site (full copy of the existing one), to be able to do updates there first, without affecting your business.
