    Hi

    The attached images show that I nowhere can turn off/on auto-update for the Xstore theme.

    1. Is it recommended to have auto-update activated or not?

    2. How can I turn it off or on?

    Dear @Nicolo,

    I hope this message finds you well. I would like to clarify that the feature you inquired about is not specific to our theme but is instead a functionality integrated within the WordPress core system.

    For detailed guidance on managing this feature, I recommend reviewing the article available at https://wpengine.com/resources/disable-auto-update/. It outlines several methods to disable the auto-update feature. The most recommended approach involves modifying your wp-config.php file. You can disable the automatic updates for the WordPress core by adding the following line of code to your wp-config.php file:

    define('WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE', false);

    Additionally, you may want to contact your hosting provider to inquire about any relevant settings on the server that could also manage this feature.

    Should you require further assistance or have any more questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson
